Vinita Nair
She joined ABC News in July 2004, and has reported on many topics including that of the Jon Benet Ramsey investigation, as well as school shootings in Bailey, Colorado. Nair became an ABC News anchor/correspondent in December 2007 with ABC News Now. In that role she hosted live reports and coverage for ABC's network on the internet. Nair was co-anchor on World News Now and America This Morning on ABC starting on September 17th of 2008 up to February 18, 2011. The show was hosted by Jeremy Hubbard and later Rob Nelson for both of the shows. Nair made it clear to viewers on World News Now that she was not going to be on World News Now after Friday 18th of February 2011. She would also have one final day of work for ABC News. Peggy Bunker from KDVR Denver was her immediate successor. For each of the three segments of World News Now's February 18 show, Nair was honored by her former colleagues as well including Jeremy Hubbard. The day she left she treated the entire team for breakfast.
