Colson Kelly, also known under the alias Machine Gun Kelly, has distinct rapping styles. Baker was born in Houston, TX U.S. on April 22nd 1990 to parents who were of English Scottish German descent. His parents were missionaries. As a child, he traveled extensively together. James Colson Baker suffered from depression and was unemployed, while Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Baker relocated to Denver with his dad and stayed for a while. Baker suffered bullying from other children in his neighborhood because of his poor living conditions. In sixth grade, he started to take rap music as a form of entertainment. Colson Baker, better known by the name Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on April 22nd, 1990. He has a reputation for blending hip-hop that is contemporary and alternative with rock music into his songs. Baker had released four mixtapes between 2007 and 2010 before signing with Bad Boy Records. With lyrics that are as fast that of a train. This Cleveland rapper experienced a meteoric rise in late 2011 when he made the transition from cranking out self-released mixtapes to working on reputable label. His career took off after that, with each of his records making the top 10 of charts.
